Lanstone
Schnauzers is the product of my passion for animals, combined with
the beautifull setting, centrally situated on a farm in the Bethlehem
area in the Eastern Free State - two and a half hours south of Johannesburg,
which offered me the opportunity to live the dream. I bought my
first Schnauzer in 1999, and soon realized that this is the dog
I would like to breed with. We currently have eight Giants, - not
only for breeding purposes, but also for their excellent watchdog
capabilities. Their offspring is well sought after, even across
South African borders.
As
a registered Giant Schnauzer breeder I do not believe in keeping
the dogs in kennels and the farm setting is, therefore, the perfect
setup. The dogs are free to roam and their cleverness is stimulated
on a daily basis. The puppies are used to being handled and cuddled
by us.
I
encourage people interested in Giant Schnauzers to pay me a visit
on the farm and will I welcome you with fresh coffee and home-made
rusks.
